Whole-body dosimetry

We offer the whole-body dosimeters to persons who are exposed to ionizing radiation at their work place and who, according to the Radiation Protection Ordinance and the X-Ray Ordinance are classified as  "occupationally exposed".

According to these regulations, the whole-body dosimeters must be able to measure the personal dose equivalent up to a tissue depth of 10mm. This is the only way to estimate the "effective dose" reliably. Our whole-body dosimeters should be worn on the trunk, usually  at chest level.
